Our Summer Dance Camps were developed with the knowledge that playful learning will give your child a magical and empowering summer experience. This summer camp adventure will spark joy and creativity in children ages 3 to 8. Dance exercises, crafts, activity sheets, and games are everything your child will need to help with their school readiness. Play guided by the science of child development will keep your child growing socially, emotionally and physically while out of school for the summer.

🎶 Moana Week | June 9-13 🌊
Set sail on a Polynesian dance adventure! Dancers will explore the rhythm of the ocean through creative movement, learn dances inspired by Moana’s journey, and create tropical crafts. The week will end with a heartwarming performance featuring your little voyager!
💚 Wicked Week | June 16-20 ✨
Defy gravity and step into the magical world of Oz! Little dancers will learn expressive movement, storytelling through dance, and theatrical pantomime as they bring Glinda and Elphaba’s story to life. Expect dazzling crafts, spellbinding games, and a wickedly fun final performance!
🦁 Lion King Week | June 23-27 🌿
Roar into the Pride Lands with this high-energy week! Young dancers will leap, prowl, and move like their favorite characters from The Lion King, exploring jungle-themed movement, rhythm games, and interactive storytelling. The week concludes with a wild and wonderful performance!
How to Register
Registering for the Camps is simple! But, this program will fill to capacity quickly, and spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. So please register early so your child won’t miss an open spot.
If you are a new or returning summer student:

Complete the payment for the program, and you’re set to go!! Check your email and phone for follow-ups as we get to know you better and answer any questions you may have.
If you are a current student:
Please sign in to your parent portal by following this link and click on "find classes."
You will then select the programs and sessions you are interested in attending.

Dance Camp Dates and Fees 2025
At the end of each session, there will be an in-studio performance spotlighting and celebrating everything your child has learned during the session.

Our Curriculum
The curriculum for the camp is part of our Leap’N Learn program used in our dance classes during the regular Petit Academy dance season. The camp will include Ballet, jazz, creative movement, pantomime, flexibility, crafts, games, and more.
The Full Experience Is Important for Your Child
The Ballet East curriculum is a carefully curated journey. A 10-plus-year journey that has been designed to facilitate the complete integration of powerful cognitive, technical, artistic, emotional, and social skills that form the foundation for your child’s future. We place enormous importance on continuing your child’s education and the consistency of their training. Due to the structure of the Leap’N Learn curriculum, it’s not recommended for families taking part in the summer dance camp to “pause” their child’s progress. Taking a break and then rejoining mid-session due to vacations or travels is not the best for your child’s development. For your convenience, we issue our dates and times early enough so you can easily plan your summer with your child’s journey at Ballet East in mind.

Registering for the campis simple!
Please note this program will quickly fill to capacity and spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. So it is best to register as soon as possible.
If you are a new or returning summer student, please complete your registration by clicking the following link for your child’s age: click for ages 3-5 or click for ages 6 to 8. Once you complete the registration form, select the program sessions, and make your payment, your child’s spot in camp is assured.

Yes, you can purchase your required uniform from Ballet East.
For safety reasons, students must remove all jewelry before entering the classroom. Stud earrings or small dangle earrings are permitted.

Students will be working with several additional materials during the camp. A welcome email you will receive by June 1st, 2023, will outline all the materials your child needs.

The deadline to apply for the camps is June 1st, 2024, but once the program fills to capacity, no more students will be accepted.

We find that many summer students become our forever students! Registering for the year-round program is simple. We invite you to view the news about the programs we will have available next season. Your child will be recommended for the program that suits where they are in their journey, and you will have the opportunity to register online.
